Stand together. Make change happen.

Credit unions live by the same Seven Cooperative Principles all other cooperatives live by. We’ve been thinking about “Cooperative Principle #7 – Concern for Community” a lot lately. Our friends at the National Credit Union Foundation make some important points and we hope to help make sure this discussion continues.

For now, we stand behind all our member/owners and the communities we serve. The fair and just treatment of everyone in our communities is a foundation on which our country was built. The African American community is hurting. We support those involved in peaceful protest and their right to do so. The images of police officers kneeling with protesters offers hope as we move forward, recognizing the hardships and injustices of the past and working together to make change happen.
