Member Account Information
Direct Deposit
If your account number did not change, your direct deposit has not been affected and you do NOT need to do anything to continue receiving your direct deposits to your account, including payroll.
Debit Cards
Your NEW Heartland Credit Union Mastercard Debit Card is now available for use. Follow the activation instructions to select your PIN.
Checks
You may continue to use your current DCCU checks for a year until October 2023. At that time, or when you deplete your current stock, order new checks using HCU’s Routing Number: 275978886. Order checks by contacting us.
Overdraft Privilege
The DCCU Overdraft Privilege program is discontinued, HOWEVER, you still have the overdraft protection services you currently have set up, such as automatic transfers from savings, and automatic transfers from credit lines such as Kwik Cash.
Online & Mobile Banking Information

Forgot Username or Password – step by step
Delete your DCCU app and download the Heartland Credit Union app from your app store.
Use your DCCU eBanking User ID and password to log in to HCU’s online and mobile banking, but please note that, for security purposes, you will be asked to change your password upon your first login. If you have multiple DCCU accounts, enter the username associated with your lowest account number. You will be able to access all your accounts from this login.
Bill Pay
Update: 10/25: We are pleased to share that Bill Pay and Pay a Person are working again. Payments scheduled for Monday, October 24 have been processed, and all future payments will process according to their scheduled dates. Please take a moment to review any upcoming payments and ensure everything looks correct.

The new HCU Bill Pay does not have any past payees stored and you will need to enter your payees – setting up new payees.
eStatements
PLEASE NOTE: DCCU September account statements were delivered via postal mail to all members. Paper statement fee did NOT apply.*
Your previous election of paper or electronic will resume with your October statements. Please note that a $3 per month fee applies to paper statements.** eStatements are always free and it’s easy to enroll through online banking!
How to set up eStatements in online banking.
DCCU members can retrieve your eStatements from October 2020 to August 2022. All members received their September 2022 statement via printed mail. Follow these instructions:
- Log on to eStatements
- Enter DCCU Account Number
- Enter Password
- Use “Forgotten password” link if needed. A link will be emailed to the account holder’s eStatement email address. Contact us if you need further assistance.
- Once logged in, select the hamburger icon on the upper right
- Select Statement Library
- Select Statements

Mortgage Loan Payments
DCCU and HCU mortgage loans are now serviced by Midwest Loan Services (MLS) which is an extension of HCU and does NOT own the loan nor the servicing rights. Selling of servicing rights is commonplace in the mortgage world, but it is not something we do. Partnering with MLS simply offers us cost savings that are turned back to the membership in lower fees and better rates. Members can still contact us for loan assistance, to make a payment in person or to talk about their loan.
Once you receive your letter with the loan account number you can register on the Loan Servicing Center and make a payment or view your loan information. Read a sample of the MLS letter.
