Election results will be announced at Heartland's 85th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

David Digiovanni (Incumbent Associate Director)

David Digiovanni is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Madison College (MATC) overseeing IT infrastructure systems and services for all school campuses. He has worked in IT for over 30 years holding leadership positions in the Aerospace, County Government and K-12 education sectors. David’s professional experience includes Strategic and Business Planning, Budget Development and Management, Process Improvements, Leadership and Team Building.

David is currently an Associate Board Member for Heartland Credit Union and also serves on the Audit Committee. Before moving back to Wisconsin David served as board chair for the Credit Union of Georgia. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer Information Systems.

“It is a privilege to serve the members of HCU as an Associate Board Member and Audit Committee Member. Going forward, I am excited at the prospect of applying my knowledge and skills to achieving the goals of Heartland Credit Union. I have over 30 years of executive-level IT experience that lends itself to providing the expertise HCU deserves as it relates to Cyber Security and IT system infrastructure. My management experience will also prove valuable in ensuring the health and stability of the Credit Union by supporting our members and staff in working to address their concerns and supporting their financial objectives. I look forward to meeting the needs of HCU and the community in any capacity.”

Jim Drogue (Incumbent)

Jim Drogue has served as a Heartland Credit Union Director since 2015 and currently serves on the Asset Liability Committee. Prior to being elected to the board, Jim served as a volunteer on Heartland’s Audit Committee. He is retired from the Wisconsin Credit Union League where he served as Senior Vice President of Credit Union Development. Jim earned his BA from Milton College. He is a Certified Credit Union Development Educator and is past Treasurer of the Cooperative Network.

“I have spent my entire career involved with the credit union movement. I want to continue to serve members of Heartland Credit Union as a board member and will work with the other board members and the Executive Team to keep our credit union a leader in the industry by being fiscally responsible and seeking financial solutions for our member-owners.”

Lucy Harr (Incumbent)

Lucy Harr has served as a Heartland Credit Union Director since 2008 and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee. She owns Providing Solutions, a communications consulting business. Lucy earned BS and MS degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

“I am interested in continuing to serve on the Heartland board to help provide strategic direction as the credit union navigates the uncharted waters of these uncertain times. My goal is to help ensure Heartland continues to provide the best possible service so the credit union can enable members to secure their financial futures. As an experienced communications professional, I have written numerous articles, white papers, books and manuals for credit union audiences here and abroad, and am pleased to share the knowledge I’ve gained for the benefit of the credit union and its members.”

Lisa Mayne

Lisa Mayne is a native of Southwest Wisconsin where she grew up on a dairy farm. She is retired from WE Energies after 31 years in the energy business. Her work experience includes a strong emphasis on customer service, leadership and project management. She earned Bachelor of Business and Marketing degrees from Lakeland College, as well as an Associate Degree in Supervisory Management from Mid-State Technical College. She previously served on the board of the North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development.

“I have a strong work ethic and set high moral standards for myself. My strong leadership background, education and management experiences make me uniquely qualified to help lead Heartland Credit Union into the future.”
