She was raised on a dairy and cash crop farm in Southwest Wisconsin where she worked throughout her high school and college years. Dianne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business, with an emphasis in finance and marketing, from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
In October 2017, Dianne was honored by the University of Wisconsin – Platteville with the College of Business, Industry, Life Science, and Agriculture Outstanding Alumni Award in recognition of her contributions to her profession and community.

Leah McDonald joined Heartland Credit Union in September 2017, but she’s been working in the finance industry for the past 12 years. She’s spent that time working closely with local farmers and businesses, handling everything from agricultural lending to insurance.
