Local isn't just lip service.  It's who we are.  Heartland CU is people – 17,500 members of the southwestern Wisconsin community, banded together for common good.

Because we're locally owned, Heartland CU is only as strong as the communities we serve. That’s why we’re committed to our Go Local programs, whether it’s supporting local farms and restaurants, raising money for area non-profits, or providing financial services for local businesses and families.

As a not-for-profit, it’s the main reason our doors are open – to support local folks like you.

All of our Go Local efforts change lives.  See the impact when we all live local.

Baby Love

The steep price tag for adoption came as a shock to Heartland members Brandon and Heidi--and they needed the money at a moment's notice!

See how Heartland helped Brandon and Heidi make their adoption dreams come true.

Give Local 2012 brings fresh food to families

Donations from members, matched by Heartland CU, raised more than $15,000 to bring fresh produce grown by area farmers to deserving local families.

The Give Local money helped Partner Shares, a program that brings together families of modest means with farmers of the FairShare CSA Coalition.

From farm to table, fantastic food!

In summer of 2012, members joined Heartland CU for Eat Local.

We celebrated the local farm-to-table connection and showed you how to turn fresh local ingredients into healthy, delicious meals.
